Mashti Malone`s Ice Cream in Los Angeles

It’s amazing. Can’t get enough. I am curious with what brain people post reviews though. Someone below me commented that prides are higher than supermarket ice cream. At that level of yelping I wish they’d just keep it to themselves

Best ice cream in the world! When you visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, make sure to come here. It's a block south from Hollywood on La Brea.This store is owned by Persians and therefore you'll see flavors that you won't see anywhere else. For example date icecream as in the pic which is made of dates. They offer you a stick with 2 samples at a time. Then you pay for $5 for a single scoop, $7 for double or $8 for triple.

I went there after seeing the review on Business Insider. Didn't disappoint! We got the rosewater pistachio ice cream in a waffle cup(if you planning to walking around thats the best option), it wasnt too sweet,not too heavy,just the right amount of everything nice. It's very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame so if you are visiting HWOF,swing by and try it out.Plus the staff is very friendly.

I absolutely love this place. It’s got flavors from another planet. Like rice noodle ice cream!!? Always plenty of choices and high quality. You can pick a cup, a sugar or a waffle cone. Some toppings are available too. But the focus is this authentic Persian ice cream. I always come back here for an occasional treat even after I’ve moved far from Hollywood. Parking always available. Free 30 min.

Absolutely unique selection. Extremely clean & well presented establishment. Almost wanted to try a scoop of every single flavour on offer and found it difficult to just stick to one.

The flavors here are extremely unique and delightful. I love the crewmy rose water but all the sorbets are great too <3 I feel that most would find it extremely pricy, but think its worth the investement!! I only emgo every now and then but this is a real treat amoung treats.

The best ice cream place in town. You cannot beat the quality the taste and the combination of flavors. I would recommend this place to people visiting California is is that good. I have never ordered anything else but the ice cream items. All sundae options are great.Mashti Malone's Ice Cream.

Incredible flavors of ice cream!! The cucumber actually tastes like cucumber... No way!

Pretty good, even though a lot of people are talking about the saffron ice cream, I personally really enjoyed the cookies and cream as well as the double chocolate brownie. I think the only problem is the location because it's in a cramped area, it's also pretty difficult to find parking at this location. But other than that, it's a pretty good area. Would recommend it to anyone who loves ice cream.

It's everything an ice cream parlor should look like. Tons of kids and families, happy faces and good ice cream. If I can say their Sugar Free ice cream is good, it really is. The only downside is the extremely long lines in the summer and finding parking is rough. But if you go expecting that, it's no big deal.

Generous scoop of ice cream or sundae. I absolutely love their golden Egg salad since I'm vegetarian it seems to be one of the only option to my taste bud. Great flavors .

It is my favorite ice cream in LA because of the most unique flavors with top notch quality. Yes it is pricey, but you definitely get what you paid for. You're welcome to try as many samples as you'd like so please be patient with the line. I usually go for the Roasted Strawberry flavor!

Visited all around the lakes on our last visit and loved enjoying an ice-cream or two by the water. Good value for money, the ice cream was delicious and there were some great gluten free options to choose from.

Pretty pricey considering it’s one scoop, but pretty creamy and not too sweat, which I like. I got the saffron pistachio vegan ice cream which was like an ice cream yet it was vegan. I would come again to get their sorbet.

The ice cream is so good, light, and fresh. I had the Creamy Rosewater ice cream, and also a scoop of the Rose Water Saffron, which has pistachios in it. They were both delicious. The staff was really nice also:) I'll totally be back!

Have been coming here since I was a kid. Never gets old especially since they have so many regular ice cream flavors and seasonal flavors. Can't go wrong with a scoop of Swiss Milk Chocolate or if you're looking for fruity sweet then go for the Strawberry Cheesecake.

Wow! I have passed by this place many times but haven't been able to stop in until TONIGHT! The service was great - I wish I had caught the employees name because she was WONDERFUL - friendly, efficient, helpful. I tasted the ginger rosewater and the Persian cucumber - both delicious but if you are wondering, I went with cucumber. Definitely recommend it if you like tasty ice cream!

I think it’s still off the radar in the sense that it’s never busy and it wasn’t designed or made for the Instagram generation. It’s just a good old school family owned joint serving terrific ice cream. I appreciate that their tester spoons are wood and not plastic and they offer a totally biodegradable spoon to take your ice cream to go with too! Just make sure you ask for it. So much better than plastic.

We came in at around 1130pm after the super cross. We reluctantly decided to go here since nothing was open late but so glad we did. We had a party of 7 and the service was quick and the food was great. Everyone at our table unanimously said their meal was delicious. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the bay.

The ice cream here has no equal, I drive over there from OC just for the ice cream. Double chocolate fudge brownie and peanut butter cup taste great. The strawberry is perfect. They have more than that and the customer service there is amazing they are so kind and considerate. Thank you all for always giving it your best.

Excellent Persian ice cream (saffron, rose water and pistachios). I especially love the sour cherry (albalou) faloudeh (frozen noodles).

Been coming to Mashti Malone's for years now. It's been a site for intoxicating, guilty indulging of ice cream for as long as I can remember. The parking is a little tiny lot that you'll be lucky to get a spot as you drop people off but it's a much better experience to just walk in get your cone and walk out. The shops and people watching around the area will be calling you anyway. Get some steps in to counter that delicious cold treat

This is a really good ice cream spot it's really delicious because their flavors are different you know what I mean it's great when you go to an ice cream shop and not just have basic vanilla chocolate like I put to spell it gives me a reason to come out here and try it out this is definitely a good place with nice people The parking's not too great unfortunately but that's not really their fault I would see if you nearby a good ice cream shop to check out

This is one of the best and most famous ice cream spots in Hollywood!! Exotic flavors, freshly made and very friendly staff!! We just love their Lavender ice cream!! Now where can you get fresh made Lavender ice cream? Delicious!!

I came acrosss this amazing ice cream place on Instagram and I'm so glad I did!! I always get their mint ice cream and I buy their Dates as well! Their employees are nice, parking was decent, and the store was clean and busy! If you want ice cream, this is the place to go to!!! Thank you for the wonderful service, every time I go in!!

My partner loves their cherry, chocolate and pistachio flavored ice cream. I'd agree it's definitely great tasting ice cream. It's a little pricey in comparison to what you'll get at Ralph's or Pavillions. But the quality far reaches the price point and is why we return. If you want to treat yourself, I'd definitely recommend.

First time to this restaurant. Felt like going back in time to the 1950's. It's not just ice cream, it has a large food menu. Food is okay, service was good. They sing happy birthday to you if it's your birthday.

By far the best ice cream I had in LA! Although the service was a little bit desirable in the sense that they were not very welcoming - but then again I understand coz it was late and they had a long line outside and were only allowing 1 group at a time. But! The flavors! So crisp. And they have such original twists to regular flavors. The saffron pistachio with the orange blossom cream and the raspberry sorbet were my favorite. Will be back for more (when the gyms re-open lol)

Yum! Never been here before but had to try because I have heard how good the ice cream is here. I had the Turkish coffee and it is so good.
